Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water them when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!
It's better to water a little too little than too much.

Let's move on to the care of Aeonium arboreum 'Velours'. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil and mineral components is suitable as a substrate. Aeonium arboreum 'Velours' does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage is important, and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. In general, this succulent tolerates too little rather than too much water. Fertilizing can be done every three to four weeks.
The light requirement of this succulent is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best suited. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Aeonium arboreum 'Velours' can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimatizing it to direct sun. However, at temperatures below 15°C, it should be brought back indoors. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Furthermore, fertilizing is stopped, and watering is reduced.
Propagation of this succulent is best done through head cuttings. In arrangements, it combines best with other Crassulaceae, such as Echeverias and Crassulas. Aeonium arboreum 'Velours' is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with animals.
A note: Sizes and shapes can vary for plants where each piece is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The coloration also varies depending on the season.
