Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water them when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!
It's better to water a little too little than too much.

The botanical name of this succulent is Aloe aristata. It is known as Aloe by its German name. This succulent belongs to the plant genus Aloes, which is assigned to the Asphodeloideae family. This succulent is native to South Africa, more precisely Lesotho.
Aloe aristata is green and has a rosette growth habit. You will receive a plant in a 12cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 14cm. The achievable height is 15cm to 20cm.
Caring for Aloe aristata is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Aloe aristata does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage of the water should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before re-watering. In general, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilization can be done every three to four weeks.
This succulent's light requirements are met in a bright to semi-shady location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Aloe aristata can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimatizing it to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Additionally, fertilizing is stopped and watering is reduced. However, the plant is not suitable for the garden.
The leaf rind of Aloe aristata contains a poisonous plant sap; we cannot guarantee compatibility with animals.
A note: Sizes and shapes may vary in plants where each piece is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The coloration also varies depending on the season.
