I am Crassula rupestris subsp. marnieriana

The botanical name of this succulent is *Crassula rupestris* subsp. *marnieriana* 'Hottentot'. In German, it is known as *Felsen-Dickblatt*. The succulent belongs to the genus *Crassula*, which is part of the Crassulaceae family.

This succulent is native to South Africa. *Crassula rupestris* subsp. *marnieriana* 'Hottentot' is green and red with a trailing growth habit. The flowers are white and arranged in dense umbels. They bloom between August and October. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 12cm. The plant can grow to a height of 15cm to 25cm (trailing).
Caring for *Crassula rupestris subsp. marnieriana 'Hottentot'* is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. *Crassula rupestris subsp. marnieriana 'Hottentot'* does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent needs a sunny to bright location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Crassula rupestris subsp. marnieriana 'Hottentot' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Furthermore, fertilizing is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by stem and leaf cuttings. Crassula rupestris subsp. marnieriana 'Hottentot' is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.
