The botanical name of this succulent is *Echeveria 'Baena'*. It is known as *Echeverie* in German. The succulent belongs to the genus *Echeveria*, which is classified in the Crassulaceae family. This succulent is native to Mexico.
Echeveria 'Baena' is mint green with red tips and has a rosette-shaped growth form. The flower is yellow to red and bell-shaped. It develops during the flowering period from May to July. You will receive a plant in a 5.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 7cm. The maximum height it can reach is 15cm.
Caring for the Echeveria minima is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria 'Baena' does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria 'Baena' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. We cannot guarantee compatibility with animals.
Please note: Sizes, shapes and ages may vary for plants, as each one is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
