Care instructions for your Echeveria

Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water them when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

It's better to water a little too little than too much.

The botanical name of this succulent is Echeveria `Galaxy Pluto´. It is known as Echeveria in German. The succulent belongs to the genus Echeveria, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae.

It is a hybrid of the Galaxy series by B. Goody (Great Britain). Echeveria `Galaxy Pluto´ is green and red with a rosette-shaped growth form. The flower is pink, bell-shaped and arranged high above the rosette. It forms during the flowering period from February to May. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 8cm. The achievable growth height is 10cm to 25cm.
Caring for the Echeveria 'Galaxy Pluto' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. The Echeveria 'Galaxy Pluto' does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria 'Galaxy Pluto' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilizing is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria `Galaxy Pluto´ is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.
Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
