The botanical name of this succulent is *Echeveria 'Silver Shine'*. The synonym *Echeveria 'Silver Queen'* is also frequently used. In German, it is known as Echeverie. The succulent belongs to the genus *Echeveria*, which is part of the Crassulaceae family.

It is a hybrid. Echeveria 'Silver Shine' is purple to green with a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flower is pink and bell-shaped. It forms during the flowering period from September to November. You will receive a plant in a pot size of 8.5cm, with a total height of pot and plant of about 10cm. The achievable growth height is 15cm to 25cm.
Caring for the Echeveria 'Silver Shine' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria 'Silver Shine' does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
This succulent needs a sunny location to meet its light requirements. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria 'Silver Shine' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilizing is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria 'Silver Shine' can be poisonous; we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.
Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
