Echeveria subessilis - 8.5cm

The botanical name of this succulent is Echeveria texensis. It is known in German as Echeverie. The succulent belongs to the genus Echeveria, which is part of the Crassulaceae family. This succulent is native to Mexico.

Echeveria texensis is green and red with a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flower is orange and bell-shaped. You will receive a plant in a 10.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 10cm.
Caring for Echeveria texensis is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria texensis does not tolerate waterlogging, so good drainage should be ensured and the substrate should be allowed to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria texensis can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimating it to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria texensis can be poisonous; we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.
