The botanical name of this succulent is *Echeveria agavoides* 'Sirius'. It is known as Echeveria in German. The succulent belongs to the genus *Echeveria*, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae. It is a hybrid.
Echeveria agavoides 'Sirius' is pale green with red tips and a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flower is dark red with yellow tips and bell-shaped. It forms during the flowering period in spring. You will receive a plant in a 10.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 12cm. The maximum height it can reach is 15cm.
Caring for the Echeveria agavoides 'Sirius' is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria agavoides 'Sirius' does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria agavoides 'Sirius' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
