The botanical name of this succulent is Echeveria colorata. Echeveria lindsayana is also frequently used as a synonym. It is known by its common German name, Echeverie. The succulent belongs to the plant genus Crassula, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae.

This succulent is native to Mexico. Echeveria colorata is green, mint, and pink with a rosette growth form. The flower is pink to orange and bell-shaped. It forms during the flowering period from April to June. You will receive a plant in a 10.5cm pot, with a total height of about 10cm including the pot and plant. The achievable growth height is 20cm.
Caring for Echeveria colorata is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria colorata does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. You can fertilize once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
The light requirements for this succulent are met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria colorata can spend the summer outdoors after it has been gradually accustomed to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Also, no more fertilizer should be applied, and watering should be reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
Propagation of this succulent is possible through seeds, as well as leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria colorata is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with animals.

A note: Sizes, shapes, and age can vary for plants, where each piece is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The coloration also varies depending on the season.
