The botanical name of this succulent is Adromischus cooperi. Synonyms often used include Adromischus cuneatus, Adromischus festivus, Adromischus halesowensis, Adromischus pachylophus, or Cotyledon cooperi. In German, it is known as Kiebitzei-Kurzstiel.

This succulent belongs to the plant genus Adromischus, which is assigned to the Crassulaceae family. This succulent is native to South Africa, particularly Lesotho and Swaziland.
Adromischus cooperi is evergreen and has the growth habit of a perennial. The flowers are salmon-red, tubular, and arranged in clusters. They form during the flowering period from June to August. You will receive a plant in an 8.5 cm pot, with a height of about 6 cm including the pot. The achievable growth height is 8 cm to 10 cm.
Let's talk about the care of Adromischus cooperi. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Adromischus cooperi does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good water drainage and let the substrate dry out before watering again. In general, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. You can fertilize once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirements are met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Adromischus cooperi can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually accustomed to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Additionally, fertilizing stops, and watering is reduced. However, the plant is not suitable for the garden.
Propagation of this succulent is possible by seeds, as well as leaf and stem cuttings. It combines best with other Crassulaceae, such as Echeverias and Crassulas, in arrangements. Adromischus cooperi is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee compatibility with animals.

A note: Sizes and shapes of plants, where each piece is unique, may vary. This applies particularly in winter or with low availability. The coloring also varies depending on the season.
