Adromischus herrei Aubergine

The botanical name of this succulent is *Adromischus herrei* 'Aubergine'. The synonym *Cotyledon marianae herrei* is also frequently used. The succulent belongs to the genus *Adromischus*, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae. It is a hybrid.

Adromischus herrei `Aubergine´ is green to red. The flower is green to dark purple, tubular and arranged in clusters. You will receive a plant in a 5.5cm pot, with a height of about 6cm. The maximum height it can reach is 10cm to 15cm.
Let's move on to the care of *Adromischus herrei* 'Aubergine'. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. *Adromischus herrei* 'Aubergine' does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Adromischus herrei `Aubergine´ can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, the plant is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. In arrangements, it is best combined with other succulent plants, such as Echeverias and Crassulas. Adromischus herrei `Aubergine´ is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.

Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
