Care instructions for your Crassula

Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

I am Crassula Money Maker Variegata

The botanical name of this succulent is *Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata'*. In German, it is known as *Pfennigbaum* or *Geldbaum*. The succulent belongs to the genus *Crassula*, which is part of the Crassulaceae family.

This succulent is native to South Africa. Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata' is evergreen with a bushy growth habit. The flowers are light yellow to white and star-shaped. They bloom between February and April. You will receive a plant in an 8.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 16cm. The plant can reach a height of 25cm to 35cm.
Caring for the Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. The Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata' does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent needs a sunny to bright location to meet its light requirements. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by leaf and stem cuttings. Crassula 'Money Maker Variegata' is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.
