Care instructions for your Crassula

Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water them when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

It's better to water a little too little than too much.

I am Crassula arborescens subsp. undulatifolia

The botanical name of this succulent is *Crassula arborescens* 'Curly'. Synonyms often used include *Crassula arborescens* ssp. *undulatifolia*, *Crassula undulatifolia*, or *Crassula* 'Blue Waves'. In German, it is known as *Pfennigbaum* or *Dickblatt*.

The succulent belongs to the plant genus Crassula, which is classified in the family Crassulaceae. This succulent is native to South Africa and is a hybrid.
Crassula arborescens 'Curly' is green and red with a bushy growth habit. The flowers are white, star-shaped and arranged in umbels. It rarely blooms, as it needs the right conditions. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 14cm. The achievable growth height is 20cm to 35cm.
Caring for Crassula arborescens 'Curly' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Crassula arborescens 'Curly' does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
This succulent needs a sunny, bright, or semi-shaded location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Crassula arborescens 'Curly' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Fertilizing is stopped, and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden. Propagation is possible via leaf and stem cuttings. Crassula arborescens 'Curly' is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.
