Care instructions for your Aloe

Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water them when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

It's better to water a little too little than too much.

I am Aloe bakeri

The botanical name of this succulent is *Aloe bakeri*. It is known as Aloe in German. The succulent belongs to the genus *Aloe*, which is classified in the family Asphodelaceae. This succulent is native to Madagascar.

Aloe bakeri is green and has a rosette growth form. The flower is yellow, yellowish-orange or red, reddish-apricot-orange at the bottom, deep orange or scarlet, with green-black stripes on the front. It blooms between June and December. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 15cm. The maximum height it can reach is 40cm to 50cm.
Caring for Aloe bakeri is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Aloe bakeri does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing is possible every three to four weeks.
This succulent needs a bright to semi-shaded location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Aloe bakeri can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Fertilizing is stopped, and watering is reduced. However, the plant is not suitable for the garden.
The leaf bark of the Aloe bakeri contains a poisonous sap, and we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
