Watering: Do not water during winter and while new leaf pairs are forming (approximately from November to the end of May). If the new plant shows wrinkles, watering should be started earlier. Otherwise: Hands off!
Size to be reached: From a certain age, Lithops do not form a new pair of leaves in the annual cycle, but two or more. Then the slit between the two heads appears parallel to the slit of the old leaves (so that the leaf slits are again across the old slit). Lithops aucampiae can get up to about 10 heads per plant.
