Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color' - 12cm

The botanical name of this succulent is Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color'. The synonym Aeonium haworthii 'Kiwi' is also frequently used. The succulent belongs to the genus Aeonium, which is part of the Crassulaceae family. This succulent is native to the Canary Islands, however, 'Dream Color' is a hybrid.

Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color' is greenish, reddish to yellowish and has a rosette growth form. The flower is yellow. It develops during the flowering period from spring to summer. You will receive a plant in a 12cm pot, with a height of about 20cm including the pot.
Let's move on to the care of the Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color'. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil and mineral components is suitable as a substrate. The Aeonium 'Kiwi' does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, the plant is not suitable for the garden.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by leaf and stem cuttings. In arrangements, it is best combined with other succulent plants, such as Echeverias and Crassulas. Aeonium haworthii 'Dream Color' is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its suitability for animals.
