The botanical name of this succulent is Crassula cotelydonis. Synonyms often used include Crassula canescens var. latifolia, Crassula cephalophora var. dubia, Crassula cephalophora var. tayloriae, Crassula cotyledon, Crassula dubia, Crassula rehmannii, Crassula tayloriae, Globulea cotyledonis, or Purgosea cotyledonis.

This succulent belongs to the plant genus Crassula, which is classified in the stonecrop family (Crassulaceae). This succulent is native to South Africa.
Crassula cotelydonis is green with a compact growth habit. The flowers are cream-colored to green. They appear during the flowering period from spring to summer. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of approximately 8cm including the pot and plant. The achievable growth height is 10cm to 15cm.
Caring for Crassula cotelydonis is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Crassula cotelydonis does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good drainage and let the substrate dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilize once a month, i.e., every four weeks.
The light requirement for this succulent is met in a sunny to bright location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Crassula cotelydonis can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimatizing it to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Additionally, no more fertilizer should be applied, and watering should be reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
Propagation of this succulent is possible through leaf and stem cuttings. Crassula cotelydonis is generally non-toxic, but we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

A note: Sizes and shapes can vary for plants, where each piece is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The coloration also varies depending on the season.
