Caring for Crassula ovata 'Hummel's Sunset' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Crassula ovata 'Hummel's Sunset' does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before re-watering. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. You can fertilize it once a month, every four weeks.
The light requirements of this succulent are met in a sunny to bright location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Crassula ovata 'Hummel's Sunset' can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimatizing it to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C. Additionally, fertilizing should cease and watering should be reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
