The botanical name of this succulent is Echeveria 'Black Prince'. In German, it is known as Echeverie. This succulent belongs to the plant genus Echeveria, which is part of the Crassulaceae family.

It is a hybrid of Echeveria shaviana and Echeveria affinis. Echeveria 'Black Prince' is green to black with a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flower is dark to salmon-red and tubular. It blooms during the flowering period from December to February. You will receive a plant in a 8.5cm pot, with a total height of about 8cm including the pot and plant. The achievable growth height is 20cm.
Caring for Echeveria 'Black Prince' is relatively easy. A mix of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria 'Black Prince' does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before re-watering. Generally, this succulent prefers too little water rather than too much. You can fertilize once a month, every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirements are met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best suited. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria 'Black Prince' can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually accustomed to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Additionally, fertilizing should cease, and watering should be reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
Propagation of this succulent is possible through leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria 'Black Prince' can be poisonous; we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

A note: Sizes, shapes, and age can vary for plants where each piece is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The coloring also varies depending on the season.
