The botanical name of this succulent is Echeveria 'Purple Pearl'. Echeveria 'Metallica' or Echeveria 'Purple Prince' are used as synonyms. In German, it is known as Echeverie. This succulent belongs to the plant genus Echeveria, which is assigned to the Crassulaceae family.

Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' is purple to green with a rosette-shaped growth habit. The flowers are coral-colored, tubular, and arranged in clusters. They bloom during the summer flowering season. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of approximately 8cm (including pot and plant). The attainable height of the plant is 20cm.
Caring for Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good water drainage and let the substrate dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates too little water rather than too much. Fertilize once a month, every four weeks.
The light requirements of this succulent are met in a sunny location. This means a south-facing window with direct sunlight is best. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' can spend the summer outdoors after gradually acclimatizing it to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Additionally, fertilizing is stopped, and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for gardens.
Propagation of this succulent is possible through seeds, as well as leaf and stem cuttings. Echeveria 'Purple Pearl' can be poisonous; we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.
A note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, where each piece is unique. This applies particularly in winter or when availability is low. The coloring also varies depending on the season.
