The botanical name of this succulent is *Euphorbia lactea* var. *cristata*. Synonyms often used are *Euphorbia lactea* 'Cristata' or *Euphorbia lactea* 'Elkhorn'. In German, it is known as Wolfsmilch (meaning "wolf's milk"). The succulent belongs to the genus *Euphorbia*, which is part of the Euphorbiaceae family. It is a hybrid.
Euphorbia lactea var. Cristata is green. The flower is yellow and arranged in branched clusters. It develops during the flowering period from June to August. You will receive a plant in a 6cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 10cm. The achievable growth height is 10cm to 15cm.
Caring for Euphorbia lactea var. Cristata is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Euphorbia lactea var. Cristata does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again.
