The botanical name of this succulent is Euphorbia trigona rubra. It is known by its English name as Medusa's Spurge. The succulent belongs to the plant genus Euphorbia, which is assigned to the spurge family (Euphorbiaceae). This succulent is native to South Africa, Lesotho, and Eswatini.

Euphorbia trigona rubra is green to red. You will receive a plant in a 5.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of about 20cm. The care of Euphorbia trigona rubra is relatively easy. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Euphorbia trigona rubra does not tolerate waterlogging, so ensure good drainage of water and let the substrate dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent prefers too little water rather than too much. Fertilization can be done about once every three to four weeks.
The light requirements of this succulent are met in a sunny to bright location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Euphorbia trigona rubra can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually accustomed to direct sun. In winter, the temperature should be around 10°C. Furthermore, fertilization is stopped, and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden.
Propagation of this succulent is possible by head cuttings. Euphorbia trigona rubra contains a poisonous sap that can also cause a rash in humans.

A note: Sizes, shapes, and ages can vary in plants, where each piece is unique. This applies particularly in winter or when availability is low. The coloration also varies depending on the season.
