Care instructions for your Albuca

Succulents store water in their leaves and therefore tolerate drought well. Place them in a bright, sunny spot and only water when the soil is completely dry. Avoid waterlogging at all costs!

It's better to water a little too little than too much.

I am Albuca spiralis Fizzle Sizzle

The botanical name of this succulent is *Albuca spiralis*. The synonym *Albuca spiralis 'Frizzle Sizzle'* is also frequently used. The succulent belongs to the genus *Albuca*, which is classified in the family Hyacinthaceae. This succulent is native to South Africa.

Albuca spiralis is green. The flower is yellow and only opens during the day. It develops during the flowering period in spring. You will receive a plant in an 8.5cm pot, with a total height of pot and plant of approximately 12cm. The maximum height it can reach is 30cm.
Caring for Albuca spiralis is relatively simple. A mixture of cactus and succulent soil is suitable as a substrate. Albuca spiralis does not tolerate waterlogging, so you should ensure good drainage and allow the substrate to dry out before watering again. Generally, this succulent tolerates less water rather than too much. Fertilizing can be done once a month, or every four weeks.
This succulent's light requirement is met in a sunny location. The optimal temperature is between 20°C and 30°C. Albuca spiralis can spend the summer outdoors after being gradually acclimated to direct sunlight. In winter, the temperature should be around 15°C.
In addition, fertilization is stopped and watering is reduced. However, this succulent is not suitable for the garden. The bulb is dormant in autumn and winter and then sprouts again in spring.
This succulent can be propagated by seeds, but also by bulbils. Albuca spiralis is slightly poisonous; we cannot guarantee its compatibility with animals.

Please note: Sizes and shapes may vary for plants, as each item is unique. This is especially true in winter or when availability is low. The color also varies depending on the season.
