Adromischus for sale
The plant species Adromischus belongs to the family of thick leafed plants (Crassulaceae) and is native to South Africa and Namibia. It is an herbaceous plant whose stem base is often thickened.
The flowers are typically whitish to pink and grow out of long flower stems.
A sunny to semi-shady place should be chosen as location.
A mixture of cactus and succulent soil and mineral parts is recommended as substrate.
As waterlogging can lead to root rot, the substrate should always be dried before watering again. You should also make sure that the water drains well.
Fertilization can be done approx. every four weeks with cactus and succulent fertilizer.
During summer you can move the succulents outside, after you have slowly acclimatized them to direct sunlight, but they should be brought back into the house at temperatures below 10°C.
During winter Adromischus should be kept in a bright place, at about 10°C. No more fertilization is required, and watering should be reduced to a minimum. The cooler the plant is located, the less watering is needed.
Adromischus is generally non-toxic, however, no guarantee for compatibility with animals can be given.
